    About Nashville Tummy Tucks
After pregnancies or dramatic weight loss, you may experience sagging, loose skin and a protruding abdomen which does not respond to diet and exercise. An abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) can remove excess fat and skin and tighten stretched muscles, giving the abdomen a flatter, firmer look. A respected educator and leader in the cosmetic surgery community, Dr. Fisher has the experience and training to achieve natural-looking, balanced results from this procedure.

During your initial tummy tuck consultation, Dr. Fisher will spend as much time as necessary to make sure you are comfortable with the procedure. He will perform a thorough examination of your abdomen and let you know what he thinks is possible. Dr. Fisher believes strongly in establishing realistic expectations with his patients.

The best candidates for the tummy tuck procedure are in fairly good shape but have abdominal skin and muscle laxity that does not respond to diet or exercise. In some cases, patients who think they need a tummy tuck are better candidates for liposuction. Women who are considering having more children in the future or patients who want to lose more weight may want to postpone their abdominoplasty.
